Together with its IT service provider IBM Austria, Public Employment Service Austria – AMS projected the introduction of a new system for document creation and output management. After an intensive evaluation phase and in competition with Austrian providers, Serie M/ was awarded the contract.
According to the strategic planning, it had to be a marketable standard product and the European requirements for accessibility had to be fulfilled, as they are mandatory for a public sector company from 2016. Our standard software Serie M/ offers the creation of accessible documents according to the international PDF/UA standard.
With the strategic solution used company-wide in all business and consulting processes, about 5,500 AMS employees generate a document about every second during core working hours. The new solution helps AMS open the way to new digital output channels and communicate even more efficiently and successfully overall.
