The M/TEXT TONIC Content Hub is a web-based content management system for creating and maintaining customer communications content.

Business editors and business content owners work in a deliberately less technical environment, enabling them to independently manage templates, content modules, and communication content without requiring changes to the technical configuration.

While technical editors provide framework templates, layouts, and resource frameworks in M/Workbench, the Content Hub enables business departments to extend these structures with content components such as texts, tables, and forms. The solution combines the functions of an enhanced user editor with selected capabilities of M/Workbench, positioning it functionally between the two tools.

Business editors can create templates based on prepared framework templates, edit content, and manage building blocks without having to deal with the technical details of resource management. At the same time, full integration into the project structure of the Serie M/ as well as into the underlying version control system is retained.

As a result, changes can be created in a controlled manner, versioned, and transferred to the system landscape through existing deployment processes. The Content Hub therefore supports a clear separation between technical and business editorial work and facilitates efficient collaboration among different roles within the document creation process.

Insert, edit, and extract building blocks as well as use framework building blocks and resources from framework templates

Project Explorer for displaying Serie M/ application projects and navigating within the project structure
Access to data model nodes to output values and to use them in conditions and loops within templates
Integrated version control with automatic checkout and commit as well as locking mechanisms to prevent concurrent editing
Assistant for publishing changes, including version commit and integration into the existing deployment processes of the Serie M/
Optional source code editor for advanced users to directly edit template and building block code
Editor functions such as rulers to control tab stops, indents, and table widths in the document layout
